About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To foster love peace and freedom by offering a haven for like minded people
ABOUT ME
I am a kind and fun person. I am fascinated by people and love to get to know them. I am no raconteur, but I am a good listener. I am a vegetarian and animal lover. I rescue dogs and currently have 5. I am a Buddhist with Daoist (Taoist) underpinnings. My primary cause is Tibetan freedom. I am cofounder a group called One Human Race for Justice (OHR4J). We have orgainized rallies and other educational events regarding Tibet. I am open-minded and open-hearted.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind, be patient, and be honest with myself and others. It doesn't matter what you know or believe; all that matters is how you treat yourself and all other sentient beings. I believe in being of service to my fellow humans in any way that I can. I believe that self-acceptance and self-love is the greatest challenge and the foundation for loving and acceting others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all sorts of movies from old classics to avant garde; independent to big budget, foreign and domestic. I enjoy all sorts of music from opera to hip-hop, singer-songwriters, blues, jazz, alternative, punk. As long as it's good it doesn't matter what genre. I read mostly books for spiritual growth; primarily Buddhist, other eastern religions and "New Thought".
