Hello, my name is DOHYEON AN. I'm from Republic of Korea.

Just a few months ago, I worked in a molecular biological laboratory as an undergraduate researcher. But now, I'm taking one year off from my university and has been experienced lots of things that I've never experienced in my university. Acting on a stage, rap making and self-analysis were my main lists to be done for last 6 months. My hobby is rap making. Although I can't do beat making and my rap skill is very poor, I steadily write my own lyrics and release my new song. If we can meet, I can tell you details of my stories :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now, I'm going to Europe for the first time of my life.
Actually, This is my first overseas trip :D
During traveling many countries in Europe,
I want to meet many people in other cultures and communicate with them.
It has been very interesting for me to share my stories to other people
and be shared stories of other people. These experiences often has given
me new inspiration and I think this new inspiration has always enriched my life :D These are my reason why I do my overseas trip and participate in CS.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rap music. Although I'm familiar with only Korean rap, I can enjoy European, Asian and American Hiphop music.
My favorite movie is Inception. Watching movies is one of my hobbies and especially, I like watching movies in a theater.
I'm not familiar with reading books. But I always try to read many books (T_T)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To my old friend, I gave him a song written by me for his birthday present.
He really like the song and he said that everytime he misses Republic of Korea (Because, he is a student studying abroad.),
he listenes to my music. It is a fantastic experience for someone to listen to my music repeatedly.
Also, it is my honor for me to express my gratitude to my friends through special way like music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to write lyrics for rap and how to enjoy rap. But I'm fluent in only Korean. (T_T)
But, I can share my stories about rap, acting, molecular biology, etc.
I want to learn all other countries' cultures including food, art, values, etc.
