About Me
Hello, my name is Dolly Yang. I am a full time Subject Librarian at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a part time PhD student at the University College London researching on the history of therapeutic exercises in medieval China. I am a vegetarian and love classical music. I live in a passive solar house with a beautiful organic garden in west Wales with my partner who is a classical composer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on a sugar-free diet for 40 days for the lent this year and it has some incredible effect on me both physically and mentally.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a professional librarian so I teach information literacy skills as part of my job. I am also a qualified Reflexologist and have been giving treatments to friends and family for the past 8 years. I practice qigong exercises, particularly the ones from ancient Chinese medical and self-cultivation texts which I have been translating for the last four years as part of my PhD research at UCL. I l speak Chinese and English fluently and can communicate in Welsh as I am working in a Welsh university. At the moment, I am also learning Italian.
