ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going and relaxed guy who loves adventure. I love to get outdoors and experience new cultures and places. For me, being able to get out of the comfort zone is one of the most important things and exciting things we can do. I think there's no better way to learn about yourself and the world around us than by walking into a completely new place, living out of a backpack and immersing yourself in whatever is on offer.

PHILOSOPHY

Travelling around on a tight budget out of a backpack for a year I learnt more than I could have imagined about myself. I believe there is nothing more important than empathy and integrity. Being on the receiving end I know how much difference the smallest act of kindness can make to someone else and try to do the same whenever I can. A person's willingness to go out of their way to help someone who they might not have even met before is a great thing

I'm yet to do any official couchsurfing, only crashed on mates' couches while on the road

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking above the tree-line through glaciers in the Canadian Rockies. Looking out across endless views of jagged peaks, bright blue lakes and hanging glaciers was an amazing sight.
