About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make friends and influence people.

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as easy going (who doesn't), but stupidity and cruelty does tend to get me a bit wound up. I love meeting new people, whether it's a brief hello-goodbye or a brand new friend. Hopefully these people like meeting me too.

I find it hard to describe myself, however I aim to be honest and open with people so it shouldn't take long for people to be able to describe me.

PHILOSOPHY

Why be anything other than nice to people? If you are able to go beyond this and actually help them out, why wouldn't you? There is good in evryone, sometimes you have to be good to them to see it.

(I generally keep my philosophies to myself, they're not of much use to others.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started surfing whilst travelling in the first half of 2011. I soon discovered how friendly the world can be and actually managed to get a lot of couches without the web site, using nothing but my charm.

In the summer of the same year I hosted some people in my family home in Brighton. Now that I'm settled in London I may be able to open my doors once again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm sorry/proud to say that my best CS experience has been entirely separate from the website. I met some tourism students in Wellington, NZ, who needed me for their research. As part of this I told them about CS. They then invited me to their party, and then I stayed on their couch for two weeks. Gotta love Kiwis.

Now I'm back home, hoping to 'pass it on'.

Interests

I used to have many, but Ultimate Frisbee seems to have aggressively destroyed most of my hobbies - and my spare time. It's quite a unique sport with an incredibly friendly community. It has allowed me to meet amazing people all over the world. It is a competitive sport but with a huge amount of respect (we don't even need referees.) This hobby has had a huge impact on my personality.

I also love film and music. Always have, always will.
