I'm a very talkative person, endlessly curious, a rocketpunk enthusiast and a movie lover. Also a creative type who likes making stuff. If you like making stuff, watching stuff other people make, or just like interesting ideas, we'll probably get along. I'm lucky enough to have a fun job that let's me express myself.

Also, love cooking, but never manage to follow recipes, mostly just winging it. Love to try new food, see new places, meet new people.

I'm a person with a disability (wheelchair bound), but I like being physically active, like to move around, prefer to explore cities on my own wheels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was younger I had a lot of short (short as in rarely lasting more than a day or two) trips, I got to see a bunch of new places, meet a bunch of new people. At some point I just stopped doing it, and I miss it, I'd like to do it again.

I live in a small town where I don't know many people, I take every chance I get to go someplace else. It's nice here, but I miss seeing something new.

I want to travel again, so I'd like to try Couchsurfing.

Older Tim Burton movies, Pixar animated films, occasionally Marvel&DC movies...like movies in general, especially ones with interesting characters.

When it comes to books, I'm a complete sf geek, so anything in the vein of Larry Niven goes, but my two favorite books are probably The picture of Dorian Grey & Perdido Street Station.

Weirdly, I never developed a specific music taste, it mostly comes down to specific songs that I feel like in the moment.

I can teach an endless amount of random trivia knowledge on a vast amount of topics. Especially when it comes to history, popular science and astronomy. Also know a bunch of movie facts.

I like to learn most stuff, except when it comes to sports and politics. I love hearing people talk about something they are super enthusiastic about, like some random hobby or interest they just want to gush about. That's probably my favorite way to learn about something new.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love making stuff, especially personalized gifts. One of my favorite thing to make are lamps! So there's a decent probability my host will end up with a new, and personalized lamp. Or maybe it could be something else? But yeah, I love making stuff, and I take any excuse to make something for someone.
