I am staying with roommates a block from the Chena River 10 minutes walking from downtown Fairbanks in Alaska. Living the dream!

ABOUT ME

I play disc golf a lot, love to play pool, be on the beach, ride my bike, go on hikes and cook delicious food. I'm a huge fan of traveling and exposing myself to new cultures and ideas. I live to help others, and try to make sure that you will remember your experience with me in a positive and fun way.

Originally, I'm from Hubbard Oregon which is about 45 minutes from Portland. I've also spent a lot of my growing up life in the Spokane Washington area. After leaving Spokane at the age of 21, I have lived all over the place. Here are some of them:

* Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska

* Telluride, Winter Park, and Denver Colorado

* Lake Powell, Page, Arizona
* Presently living in Sandpoint, ID

I've had so many jobs that I have lost track of how many, however I'm quite certain that the number is pushing close to 100. Most of them are tourist based seasonal jobs. I have worked at:

* Snorkel Bobs, a snorkel shop in Maui
* Alaska Railroad for Princess Tours in Alaska
* Chena Hot Springs Resort in Fairbanks
* Taxi Driver in Denver and Jackson Hole
* Rental Ski Tech in Telluride CO
* Hotel shuttle driver in Park City and Telluride
* Forestry services (Logging like a boss)
* Deckhand on various cruise ships
* Customer Service at a porn shop
* Various call center jobs
* So many restaurants that I can't even remember all of them
* You get the idea. If it makes money and potentially is fun, I'll do it!

PHILOSOPHY

Always carry a sharpie. If strangers start talking to you and they are not trying to sell you something, listen to them and embrace their stories!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have crashed a few couches in my lifetime, and whenever I have the space my place is always open to new travelers. Sadly, my current roommate doesn't like to meet new people like I do, so I cannot share my space with strangers. But I would love to meet up with people that are traveling through so feel free to get a hold of me if you want someone to hang out with while your passing through town! Party like a local yo!

Positive! I've been couchsurfing since before this website was even a thing. Once couchsurfing.com came out, shit really got real!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have scuba dived the great barrier reef, climbed lava tubes in Maui, flown around Mt Denali in Alaska and wandered through jungles in central America. I love to jump off bridges and cliffs into rivers and lakes, and if I'm not doing something new each day I get bored to death
