HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a host in the past and look forward to doing more surfing myself. I enjoy both hosting and surfing.... I've been doing this for years via networks of friends, family, and acquaintance.

Modern poetry, acoustic music, JAZZ, art and aesthetics, loft apartments, PCA churches, dry red wine, a good red or stout beer, teaching, the God of the Universe and his son Jesus, my awesome friends, cooking and all things domestic, driving really fast! Also love hiking, simple living and the outdoors in many incarnations.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I saw Lake Michigan frozen at midnight under a full moon. It looked like a field of diamonds, rough cut and dangerous.... I can't even describe it, no matter how hard I try. The silence was deafening, the vision surreal and the lighting better than the best black and white photos you have ever seen.
