About Me

About to explore South America for 5 months with a quick stop in Madrid before.

That feeling, when you have a great time with strangers, who eventually turn into friends. That is one out of many reasons why traveling in general and Couchsurfing especially are so special!

I am pretty sure, if you don't leave your comfort space and travel and explore, you are not gonna understand this complex world.

Because of that, I love to travel, to experience other cultures and of course meet new, awesome people anywhere around the world. And hey, even in your home country there are so many new things to see, so let's go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard about the app a couple years ago and thought about giving it a try. And I did not regret it! Through CS, I met people and created memories with them which I would not have been able to do without it. Everytime I travel solo, I try to stay with some local hosts and that’s the way I love to travel the most :)

Interests

A big outdoor and sports person, you can count me in for every kind of activity within that part. My latest volunteering project is a 24h cycling project to raise donations for charity projects. Additionally, I like BigBand music and founded a small music festival a couple years ago. As you can tell, I am definitely not against partying and at the same time I love some chill evenings from time to time. So, if its not gonna be a night out, I am history and art interested, love to discuss about politics, philosophy, economics, the weather, about pets (still can't decide wheter I am a cat or a dog person), and so many things more... Find it out!

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I am down for most of it. From brass band and big band music, to charts, Schlager and oldies I like pretty much everything. Always open to hear about new bands and music genres!

In love with funny movies, documentaries about nature and history, as well as movies that you have to watch more then once to get the whole story behind them like Matrix, Inception, Interstellar etc.
Oh, and I am kinda scared of horror movies...

In terms of books, I love to read but don’t make that much time for it. However, finished 1984 just recently and that is definitely an impressive one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pretty sure I have some love for the alpes. Crossed them twice, the first time on a bicycle trip from Ulm to Roma in 7 days and the second time on the hiking route E5 from Oberstdorf to Meran. Besides that I ve been abroad three times for a couple of months while studying and working.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Dear hosts, I am an easy going guy with an open mindset towards cultures, people and new adventures. If you have time to do something fun together that would be awesome. But even if you can't make time, I am good with that. If you have some questions or you maybe not sure if I am a person you want to have in your house, just text me or we can have a call.
