I'm a world traveller, very interested in other cultures and languages. As a scientist, I like to challenge people's given opinions. I enjoy fine food and drink and like to try my hand at cooking as well. One of the things that makes me happy is to embark on a new trip, to discover something new. I like to explore and read about new subjects, be it Italian Renaissance painting, French cuisine, Latin jazz, horticulture, mushroom hunting, or Persian Sufi poetry.
