I am a gregarious sort of fellow of twenty-one, footloose and greatly curious in all things. I like a good drink in good company and especially in good location. I was born on the seafaring Isle of Wight, and I enjoy leaning upon the strouds, the brush of the sea air and the spray of the sea. It's the greatest form of hostelry: if one is lucky and can stay with someone who is local and knows the locality well and can indicate what is worth exploring , then one experiences and learns a lot more; it's a bonus when trying to learn another language, and at the moment it is French for me; and I suppose one of the greatest pleasures is meeting new people.
