About Me

I'm pretty low key. Live with my dog and am looking to move to Chicago by the end of 2016. I shoot pool, play darts and disc golf. I love to travel. I have an avid interest in sustainable living through self contained housing (ie Earthships) and homesteading. I have a goal of learning how to sail in the next 5 years and plan on owning a sailboat to eventually live on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hosting people and want to support people's adventures. Someday, I may need a hand, or head on an adventure of my own, and would like to pay it forward now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earthship Academy - Junebof 2016

I have been so excited to learn how to build earthships my entire life (ok, the last 5 years). Now I finally have the time/money to do so. This dream is being realized and I am happy to share any knowledge I am learning in the process.

Ninja Camping - multiple occasions

Sneak into a state park or campground at dusk. Setup camp with a hammock and at day break, move out. Some trips have been survival based - only bring what fits in a back pack - others have been what you fit on a motorcylce.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've always got a project going on at the house. Most recently has been an aquaponics system. I've also got plenty of cars I'm always working on. By the end of June 2016 I'll be able to teach you how to build an earthship.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs, stories and card games as well as local areas to support local business or just experience where ever I may be living at the moment.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Mexico
