About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay hungry. Stay free. And do the best that you can.

ABOUT ME

- I wrote this when I first joined. Someday I may update it. -

I love being in new places, seeing things from other's perspectives, and the journey alone is reason enough to try new things. I can be fairly quiet but a lot of that's just because I'm easy going about everything, and fascinated in watching what's around me, but if we've ended up in the same place it's because I'm just as interested in getting to know you!

I could ramble for a while but will stop there, for anything that isn't in the below sections just ask.

PHILOSOPHY

'This spending of the best parts of one's life earning money in order to enjoy a questionable liberty during the least valuable part of it, reminds me of the Englishman who went to India to make a fortune first, in order that he might return to England and live the life of a poet. He should have gone up the garret at once.'

And yet, 'I would not have anyone adopt my mode of living on any account; beside that before he has fairly learned it I may have found out another for myself, I desire that there be as many different persons in the world as possible; but I would have every one be careful to find out and pursue his own way, and not his father's, or his mother's, or his neighbour's instead. The youth may build or plant or sail, only let him not be hindered from doing that which he tells me he would like to do.'

- Thoreau

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been to a few nights with couchsurfers from my area and really enjoyed meeting people from such different backgrounds open to talking to new people.

I surfed while interrailing in Spain, and it was the highlight of the trip!

Interests

I love live music and try to see as much as possible, everything about the atmosphere and enthusiasm is brilliant, whether it's a hardcore or an acoustic show I just love being there.

Films and film-making - which is why I chose to do a Film and TV Production degree, everything about that world is fun to be a part of.

I read as much as I can and like trying other's favourite books; it's always interesting to see what speaks most to them.
