ABOUT ME

Dominic:
I am a very open minded person, who loves to open up to strangers! I enjoy speaking about politics, but i also love to talk about nonsense, i am easily pleased with either. I am very passionate about Indigenous history, well all history really, but specifically Australian and Canadian Aboriginal History.

I love to travel and love to be apart of other peoples travels also, hence why I am involved in surfing as well as hosting!

Helene:
I am a very down to earth being, who enjoys sharing life with friends and most importantly family. I thoroughly enjoy making new friends and appreciate the goodness in all people.

Together:
We married just over 2 years ago and are still currently on our Honeymoon(s). Helene and I have been together since school (11 Years) and do pretty much everything together, but we also like to venture out on our own too and are the opposite of a lovey dovey couple.

We love to cook (mostly vegan, but always at least vego and also not the judgemental type) and share meals with our surfers/hosts, we think it is a key part to the couchsurfing experience plus it allows plenty of time to get to know our surfers/hosts!!

Helene and I have surfed a bunch in North America and have done a bit of hosting ourselves back home in Adelaide, Aus and in Fernie, BC, Canada

Dominic:

Helene:
Sport, yoga, dogs (most animals), nature, adventure, hiking, minimalism, sustainability and politics. And likewise a good yarn over a glass of red or a tasting Ale.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packing up and selling all our gear and leaving for a year long adventure around the western world, which we are currently 9 months into!!
