I am 28 and I am an English and Geography middle school teacher.
I love books and films (even though I hardly find the time to work through my read&watch list) and I am interested in almost any matter our planet has to offer, however, not raisins or marzipan (those sadly mutilated grapes and almonds I leave to somebody else's pleasure!)
(EDIT 2023: I do eat and actually like raisins now, however, I discovered that I have that extra enzyme that makes cilantro taste like dishsoap to me, so that got added to the list).
I love being around people - lifelong friends as well as strangers from the train. Everybody has a unique story to tell and experiences to share and in case I speak your language I'd enjoy hearing all of it, and in case I don't, I'd say let's start with easy vocab first.
I think discovering what's there to be discovered is one of the great things you can do with your life and I am quite happy I figured that out now - plenty of time left to do so! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's simply the best way imaginable of experiencing life in different places in the world while getting the chance to meet new people and taking part in their lives at least for a couple of days :)
