Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel and gather other people's stories!
Interests
I'm fascinated by languages and would like to learn as many as possible. One of my life goals is to learn sign language.
I like to cook and bake, even though I'm not a very confident cook. I like to surprise my loved ones with a batch of lavender cookies or savory muffins.
Music is quite a big part of my life. I absolutely love going to concerts {most of my travels are concert-related} - I find that it's the best way to connect with musicians and meet like-minded people.
I also collect instruments, so far I have a guitar, a ukulele and a mandolin. Dulcimer or banjo are next up.
I read quite a lot, mostly classics and graphic novels.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, my taste is all over the place, however I tend hover around the folk / alternative realm. Absolute favourite artists include Andrew Bird, Radiohead, Efterklang, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Laura Marling and buskers in my hometown.
I'm not a big movie fan, however I do love Wes Anderson.
a couple of my favourite authors: Jonathan Safran Foer, James Joyce, Kazuo Ishiguro, Craig Thompson
