Generally, as I get older, I prefer listening to talking. In this mad mad world people tend to use their tongues a lot, and it leads to misunderstandings. They talk too much, yet say too little. We’ve got one mouth and two ears after all, let’s take it as a hint.

I’d like to know as much as I possibly can. As a result I know what I lack. The only hunger, which is always unsatisfied, is a thirst for knowledge. I’m addicted to questions, allergic to dogmas. Feeling or thinking? Intuitive or logical? Yes. I am, am I, who am I.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Here it comes. The total cliché. I've got two reasons- I simply love travelling and I simply love people with beautiful minds (which I've been meeting through my CS journey). I want to travel the whole world, not just the postcard version. My non-existent bucket list begins in the heart of overcrowded cities, alive mostly at night, pulsing with neon lights, hidden corners and strangers who might become stories. And it ends in the quiet, untouched corners of the Earth, where time melts, trees speak softly, and no one is watching. I’m a bit like a Hobbit, in love with all that blooms and grows. And a bit like a Romantic, always chasing the kind of beauty that can’t be bought - only witnessed.

I’m wildly into art, and by that, I mean all art. Where the only borders are the length of a word or the stroke of a brush. There’s a razor-thin line between genius and kitsch, and art happily dances on both sides. Painting and poetry are my favorite ways to get lost.

I am a certified film freak, a day without a movie is a day lost. I pop down the theater whenever I get a chance. I love to drown in foreign magical worlds. Lately, I’ve also been discovering my musical side, because music is another language I want to learn to speak.

I am the aspiring creator of many kinds. The researcher of past, present and future. Of mind, soul, dreams, all sorts of inner treasures. Of the depth of myself and so called boundaries and limitations of human kind.

In terms of sports I’ve started appreciating yoga a lot. I’ve became a certified teacher completing my trainings in India and Nepal. Besides that I’ve found a piece of myself lost deep in the water. Diving isn’t just a sport for me, it’s meditation in motion, a way to know a world we don’t belong to.

I studied philosophy and cognitive science for some time, before ditching it to get some real life experience, not the one closed on pages of massive books. Eventually I managed to finish my Masters in Neuropsychology, which became a professional path of my life.

I try to mix the physical and the mystical, therefore I use my academic background to understand better the indigenous wisdom. I work with plants and carry out research on psychedelics and the path towards enlightenment (including very complex task of operationalization based on multiple various traditions as well as my own insights).

I hope that there will be more, and more, and more of these interests, since I seriously plan to try everything in my life (sic!).
