Hi! I'm Dominika (I'm quite sure that you are aware of this fact already 😃). I grew up in a beautiful Polish town called Chodzież and moved to London 2 years ago. I'm a student who really wants to enjoy this time - one of the ideas to do so was signing up on Couchsurfing. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Don't want to answer in such obvious way. Well, it's going out of my comfort zone - I used to be very closed if it's about travelling. Usually I'm travelling just for a few days - it's an amazing chance to meet locals who can show you what's the best in their city. Some beautiful things are deeply hidden and you won't find them in the guidebooks 👍🏻

Interests

All of the possible water sports - if I haven't try one - be sure that I will! I like dancing and used to do it... maaany years ago. But still I'm really excited about possibilities to learn something new! I like lying on the sand or grass and reading nice books as much as sightseeing! But I don't enjoy only landscapes - I love stories! As I study law I'm a little freak of reading about that subject - but it doesn't make me as boring as you think 😃

Music, Movies, and Books

I love dramas and thrillers (and Harry Potter!!!❤) and I'm a huge fan of the TV series! I'm so in love with the GOT, Suits, House of Cards, Narcos and soooooooooo on... (trust me, I won't finish within the next 5 minutes). Much more than movies I prefer books, you shouldn't be surprised my fav writer is Nicholas Sparks (probably most of the women think the same!) . I buy books so often that I have no time to read them straight away - the huge part of my collection is waiting on their time ;). I also like personal development subjects (and Harry Potter, one more time).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was St. Patrick's day - We decided to go to the bar in Camden Town with my friends to celebrate. We had an amazing time, but the best part of the night was our flight to France... Stright after the visit in the pub 😃

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn Spanish and I would love to improve my language! In exchange I may give you some Polish lessons (I know how difficult it sounds...). I like cooking and it's much more fun while doing it together! Preferably with a glass of wine on the side 🍷. I love bonfires and maybe one day I will learn how to play guitar... To make it more special! But I'm a terrible singer. I love water, sea, ocean, rivers, lakes, whatever - I love water skis, swimming, canoes, boats, same as lying on a beach with a great book. I'm sure I will try surfing once! One of my biggest loves is football - I'm a supporter of Barcelona!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Except of our personal space?😃 We can learn languages, cooking, riding bikes around the city and just simply have fun together. We can share experiences and knowledge, I quite like history and it would be nice to hear some local stories 😉 I'm actually interested in everything that's around me - we won't get bored ☺️
