About Me
Hello there!
My name is Dominika. I'm from Hungary but have been living in Wales for the past 6 years.
I like to keep an open mind and am eager to learn and improve every day.
I like to get to know people from all across the globe, and exchange ideas, ways of living, values, stories, and so on.
I'm just about to finish a year-long volunteering project in Ireland, where I learned about organic farming in an ecovillage.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Living in a multicultural place I had the chance to meet and make friends with people from many different countries and learn about their culture, different ways of living, and doing things.
It really opened up my eyes and got me interested in experiencing it firsthand by traveling.
I think CouchSurfing is an amazing way to participate in the magic of connecting with people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well anything from Avicii to Vivaldi, I listen to all kinds of genres.
My music taste is constantly changing, I'm open to listening to anything. really. I like discovering new artists on Spotify. I don't follow the current pop music, but as a 90s kid, I love the old 80s and 90s hits both in English and Hungarian.
Currently listening to these artists on repeat: Hermanos Gutiérrez, Ash, Emma Peters, Mose, Konyha
I like movies that are based on true stories, also documentaries, but here are some other movies that I liked: Forrest Gump, The Matrix, Inception, The Lobster, Another Earth.
Series: Broad City, Suits, Friends, Supernatural, Two Broke Girls, Scrubs, La Casa de Papel
Book-wise... The Little Prince, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Power of Now
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being grateful for getting into a car accident, which made me realize my life was heading in the direction that I really wanted.
Pun not intended :)
