I'm a writer and video producer who has lived in New York for the past eight years. I took a year off in 2019 to travel the world, learning and experiencing new cultures. I am going to be traveling to Dublin for a literary sabbatical of sorts, and am looking forward to the adventure. While traveling I primarily used Workaway and Trusted Housesitters, which were incredible experiences, and I'm hoping to finally get a Couchsurfing experience as well. I love reading, eating, and having great conversations!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz, afrobeats, r&b, hip hop, soukouss, and so many other musical stylings. I love singing and playing the guitar (my guitar lives in France at the moment though). My favorite kinds of books are historical fiction, magical realism, and really any literary fiction will do!

I created a literary variety show for PBS.

It turns out I'm a decent cook, so I can share the meals that I learned to make while in France. I love having conversations, and I love to garden.
