PHILOSOPHY

I am still figuring things out, but for the most part try to live by the Golden Rule: I do unto others as I would have them do unto me... A lot of my life direction come from the Bible as well. Beautiful stories about people and the lives they have lived.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few individuals and hope to be a surfer in near future in my grad school research/interviews and my summer travels to Europe. I love getting to know a place through a locals perspective. So much richer and more meaningful!

I tend to like more artistic movies, favorites: Amelie and Science of Sleep and romantic comedies.. as I'm a hopeless romantic. Also like documentary style films on things of interest to me: art, health, music, cooking, etc. I love folk, blue grass, jazz, blues, Cajun and Zydeco music, and dancing to all of those types. Books: I love to read, but dont find myself reading that much these days. I often read books or magazines on gardening, cooking, art making, biographies, and sometimes novels. Last read: Half Broke Horses- a great novel I highly recommend.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Traveled to: beautiful Costa Rica and Chile. Lived in Southern CA and went snowboarding and tried to surf. Lived in and traveled around the awesome Rocky mountains of CO and hiked Pike's Peak multiple times Biked the Hiawatha Bike trail in Montana, an old Railroad trail converted for biking, which has pitch black tunnels that you bike through and super high, fantastic trellises with great views. And I grew up in southern LA! a beautiful, remarkable, unique place of Cajun goodness.

I have a decent knowledge about gardening, cooking, art making, and outdoor adventure fun and would love to share this knowledge. I can always learn more in these areas however! and Im open to learning more about other things as well! Would love to master surfing! also would like to re-learn French
