About Me

I work as a radio journalist, which means I’m always chasing stories, meeting people, and trying to understand the world from different perspectives. Off-air, I’m passionate about exploring life through travel, books, music, and conversations. I haven't had a chance yet to try Couchsurfing but I'm excited to meet new people. A few things about me:

I love basketball (no surprise if you know where I’m from).
I enjoy singing and karaoke – if there’s music around, I’ll probably join in.
I enjoy reading books, especially historical fiction.
Traveling for me is less about ticking places off a list, more about meeting people and discovering what makes each place unique.

I’m curious, open-minded, and always up for a good conversation – whether about culture, politics, or just sharing stories over a cup of coffee (or beer)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm curious and I always enjoy hearing stories and meeting people with different perspectives. I truly believe travel is less about the places and more about the people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classic and alternative rock music, as well as indie, pop, and more.

I like all kinds of movies and TV-series, however, I find it difficult to find time to enjoy them. I love such TV shows as Shameless and How I Met Your Mother.

When it comes to books, I enjoy reading historical fiction, especially about the 20th century.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I accepted an unexpected offer to go to Sicily and work there for a year. I lived in Catania and worked as an English teacher at a private informal education school. It was a unique experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some lessons or insights on Lithuanian language and culture, also I speak a bit of Swedish :) I can teach you some Lithuanian songs as well! Would love to learn new languages, hidden spots in cities and hiking routes recommendations :)
