ABOUT ME

I am a laid back, polite, thoughtful person. I like to have a laugh and enjoy a chat. I like doing quieter things like enjoying walks and nature, and can enjoy a fun night out as well.

I finished my graduate studies in London last year and have a temporary contract working for a company in Halden, Norway. This finishes in the Summer. I really enjoy the work (it's a cross between design and psychology - making things more user-friendly). Living away from London is a bit new to me so I'm finding things to do to keep myself busy.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a personal philosophy... and now feel I should... hhhmmm... how have I got this far without my a personal philosophy?! For now I'll leave a quote that I like: "You don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started this so I'll have to update this later, but a coffee, chat, day out, or drink sound very appealing at the moment - especially where I don't know many people here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to all this stuff. A friend recommended the site as a good way to meet people and travel, etc. and I know another guy who's met up with someone for coffee and thought it was fun.

I try to go snowboarding once a year. I like walking, nature, looking at beautiful scenery and I like to try different things. A drink and chat is a nice way to pass the time.

Unfortunately I don't read a lot for leisure as I read a lot for work.
I have an eclectic taste in music and fairly easy going depending on the mood.
The Shawshank Redemption is one of my favourite movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A beautiful moment I recall was when I was travelling for a month around Thailand. On a jungle trekking expedition we stopped by a pool and swam toward a rock at the back of this waterfall. I remember laying on the rock as the water came down infront of us and looking up at the blue sky to see a rainbow that was bright, full of colour, and in a full circle because of the fine mist all around.
