CURRENT MISSION

Right now I'm cycling home from the South of France to England, and would like to find some interesting people to meet along the way!

ABOUT ME

Since I left school I've spent as much time as possible travelling - there is so much of the world to see, so many people to meet, so many different things to experience... For this reason I studied Chinese, and spent time living in france and Canada, and travelled in Morocco and South America. Some of the time I combined these trips with snowboarding, and a lot of the time I had my nose in a book as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing, and right now I'm hoping to use it to meet some interesting people between here (South of France) and home (UK) on my cycling trip, because, though I love cycling, it can be a bit solitary.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No official experiences yet, though I've met friendly people in places all over the world, many of whom have helped me out in all sorts of different ways, like Marion in Nice a couple of weeks ago, who shared her apartment with my friend Sean and me, and took us to a DJ Krush gig!

Music, Movies, and Books

yep, love all 3 - I recently read The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano and it pretty much blew my mind, it's the kind of book that reminds you that life's worth living, however you live it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in China for a year during university. I studied Chinese in the city of Dalian, and in the spring festival break travelled to places like Tibet and Yunnan. It was amazing to get to see so much of this culture that is so completely different to my own.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is so much that I want to learn, from Japanese to carpentry skills. I'm not sure what I have to teach - if I think of something I'll add it in!
