Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We are fairly new to it still, with only having surfed once and hosted twice so far. But I'm really looking forward to enjoying it more because of that whole Karma thing (and it just sounds like a really great way to meet people from all over the world).

Interessen

Besides travel, sports is my biggest interest, especially college football
and basketball, as well as the Olympics. I've backpacked and camped in very rustic places, yet have stayed in numerous 5 star resorts as well; so I guess you can say my interests (and experiences) have been quite varied.

I like a very wide variety of music: country, classic rock, contemporary, oldies, etc
I like war movies and comedies, and tolerate chick flicks with my wife :)
Not a big reader of books to be honest; I enjoy National Geographic and Sports Illustrated magazines.

OK, a couple more: went bungee jumping off a 110 foot platform off a cliff in Mexico, and climbed Machu Picchu!

Lots of travel insight, a good sense of humor, and hopefully a reciprocal spot to crash at my house where I can show them a good time on our pontoon boat and jet ski !
