I am a simple, down to earth, clean, considerate, quiet kind of guy, who loves to explore and be out in nature, go for walks, strike out on my own and see a new city or neighborhood or countryside. I love visiting national parks, beaches and the ocean, palm trees, historical and architecturally unique buildings, cities, and sites.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Fairly new to Couchsurfing (Oct.2017). I need and want to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people and cultures, and gain new life experiences and friends in familiar and new places as I explore different parts of the world.

I am sorry that I am not able to host at this point in time, although I would love to sometime in the future. I have a full house with housemates and so hosting is not possible at the present time.

WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING; my travel goals and desirable areas:

As of late, I have started to travel to different parts of the world to explore and see new places. Areas of particular interest I would still like to visit are Mexico, Central and South America--Belize, Panama, Ecuador, Columbia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Polynesia (Hawaii--Big Island, Samoa, etc.), the Caribbean. Besides just sightseeing and experiencing new and different cultures, I'm also desirous to scout out areas that would be good to retire to, and so it would be nice to have some other American expats around (or at least where some English is spoken). Anywhere warm, with palm trees, ocean or another body of water, beaches, and small (5,000-50,000) population towns would be perfect...and where the cost of living is reasonable! That's not too much to ask for, is it?!  Heh.  (Locations such as Lake Chapala México, Panama, Belize, and Cuenca Ecuador are just such places listed in articles I've read that supposedly have most, or all, of those things.)  If you happen to live in any of those places I've mentioned (or if you live in any place that otherwise would be great to visit and/or live), feel free to say hi. If you could be a Couchsurfing host to me, so I could come and check out your area, that would be awesome!  ...And hopefully we can become friends at the same time.
