CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to trek the interesting, historical and fun places of the world. I am still working part time for toy and travel money mainly.

ABOUT ME

I work part time as independent contractor while wife Judy is retired from government work as a Contracts Officer. She voluteers at local non-profit. We just sold RV which we traveled in all over US for the last 5 years. Now we are downsizing to hiking, couchsurfing and other cheaper ways to get around. In a few years, after we do Europe more, we plan on getting a trailer to see more of the US.

PHILOSOPHY

Do good to others and leave the world a better place after we pass through it.

Was a US Marine in the Viet Nam War in 1967. Grew up there.
Was a State Dept contractor in Iraq in 2008. Adopted about 150 Ahwazi and Kurd refugee children and was a voice crying in the desert. Got approximately 1 1/2 tons of warm clothes, toy, food, and school stuff sent over to aid them. I do gold prospecting in old gold camps near Tucson. It is a bit rugged but if you can handle wilderness and getting a bit dirty, I'd be glad to take you gold prospecting with me. Judy would be a great tour guide for Tucson events and for hicking some of our local canyons.
