Overview
About Me
Yoyoyo, I'm Donal and I'm from Ireland. I've just completed my stint in college to achieve my Bachelor of Science in Forensic and Environmental Chemistry.
As a result of being cooped up in college for 4 years, I've got a lot of pent up energy and a taste for adventure that I need to sate before I join the real world as a functioning member of society.
I'm admittedly a bit of a shy/quiet person when I first meet someone new, although that wears off after having a bit of a banter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here on this website to meet new people and have the craic (craic = fun as Gaeilge [as Gaeilge = in Irish])

Music, Movies, and Books
I like pretty much all music that comes my way; from pop to (hip)hop, folk to funk, jazz to rock, if ya can dance to it then I can dig it. Although there is a special place in my heart for da funk.
After not having picked up an instrument for a good few years, I'm going to be learning the harmonica to see what noises I can produce.
My 2 favourite films are Fight Club and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind but they now have competition from the newcomers Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Annihilation. The OG Jungle Book is the film of my childhood.
Currently reading the Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley and the Saga of the Swamp Thing by Alan Moore. Favourite authors would probably be Neil Gaiman and/or Grant Morrison.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made it through 4 years of college with only 1 nervous breakdown c:
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not much of a teacher but if ya need to know about chemistry, beer or Irish culture, then I'm your man. I'm also an endless supply of interesting but ultimately useless animal factoids.
