Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling to me is more than just seeing the local sights, but experiencing the local arts, food and customs. Taking in a new city is always more enjoyable when with a local who is willing to share with me the richness of their city. I try to return the favor when I have friends and colleagues who come in from around the world - I try to help them experience my city just like a local would.

I also would like more exposure to other languages. Two languages on my bucket list are French and Italian.

I love to try cooking the local cuisine whenever I'm at. I've made hand-pulled noodles in Shanghai and biryani in India.
