Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hearing and discussing new perspectives about my own society and others. I revel in the small details about different cultures which make me question my own. Cultural exchange is really the best part about travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in Erlangen germany for 7 months and when i first arrived there I couch surfed with some people before I moved into my new place. It was awesome and really helped me integrate and get situated in a new place. I made some new friends as well!

Also I lived in a hostel in Berlin for 2 months. While this is not couch surfing, I would say that its similar in the sense that you get to meet people and show them around or be shown around. I found this experience invaluable and I hope to continue having similar interactions while couchsurfing.

Interests

I have a lot of hobbies. I enjoy surfing, brewing beer, hiking, snorkeling, traveling, playing guitar, and banjo. I currently do chemistry research focused towards developing renewable energy sources. I love hearing and discussing new perspectives about my own society and others.

Me and a friend put glow sticks all over ourselves and went night surfing on a full moon. A shark almost ate me...
