Hi, my name is Donat and I am 20 years old. I am an adventurer and a traveler who has already visited 22 countries.

My hobbies include volleyball, kayaking, playing guitar, and swimming, but I also enjoy some of the little things in life like pina colada and Mars bars.

I registered on Couchsurfing to meet amazing people, share incredible stories, and create new friendships. I consider myself a sociable and respectful guest, and my goal is always to meet new friends and create unforgettable moments while traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my early childhood, my life has been intertwined with traveling. My father has always encouraged me and my family to explore different countries and cultures. Although there were times when I got tired of sitting for hours in the car and standing in long queues to go through passport control at airports, it always paid off in the end.

As we made our way through the Romanian mountains, or as I saw the black sands in Bulgaria, and felt how cold and salty the ocean was in Portugal I grasped the essence of traveling. The moments when I was able to see different cultures, meet a variety of people, and dive into different aspects of this amazing world became invaluable to me.

I want to not only see the world but also learn to see it through the eyes of the locals, through their stories and experiences. I want to be closer to the culture and true spirit of the places I visit and Couchsurfing provides a unique opportunity to do just that.

I love the idea of Couchsurfing because it provides a unique opportunity to share this journey with others and exchange these incredible moments and experiences with those who share my passion for exploring the world.
