ABOUT ME

Glen: I'm a Canadian Born Chinese studied in the Czech republic. Been a student most of my life, with an array of random jobs to support that lifestyle. Hopefully in the end I achieve what I set forth to do.

Kristen: I'm a Canadian, was born and raised on a small farm, am currently living in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, and after 8 years of school I am done!! I enjoy many things outside of school from sports to music and dance to traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that life is too short to waste it on worrying. I'm alive to help others whenever I can, not saying I don't take time for myself to appreciate life. When it comes to having a great time it is never about where you are but who your with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Glen: Popped my couch surfing cherry in Innsbruck and I hope it was as good for her as it was for me. Also hosted for the first time a very nice slovenian couple. So both my firsts were great firsts. Host many interesting people and spent a great month in Switzerland.

Kristen: I'm new to the CouchSurfing game but am excited to test the waters this summer when I head to Europe to visit Glen!

兴趣

Glen: Snowboard, skiing, longboard, wakeboard, wakeskate surfing, soccer, basketball, volleyball,rockclimbing, sports in general I guess, more adrenalin the better, it's like natures crack. Travelling is definite, cook....More iron chef, less Martha Stewart. Having good conversation, and letting loose and having an epic time anywhere.

Kristen: Similarly to Glen I enjoy many sports such as snowboarding, skiing, running, hockey, basketball, volleyball, slowpitch, dodgeball, curling, golfing and there are many activities I am dying to try such as surfing and diving. I also enjoy singing, dancing, and playing piano and flute. I love to travel, meet new people, and am always open to new experiences and challenges.

音乐、电影和书籍

Glen: I listen to everything depending on mood, not too fond of hard metal and techno. Books, haven't been able to do much fun reading as most of my readings currently consists of text books.

Kristen: While I do have a certain fondness for country music, my musical background has given me an appreciation for many styles of music. I similarily enjoy many different genres of movies and books and am always looking for suggestions.

Kristen: Agreed...and can't wait to do and see more...especially with Glen.

We are big on learning anything about everything, and teaching whatever we can. Between the two of us, we know a few languages and are both keen to learn more.
