I want to meet people from all around the world to gain more of a global perspective, as well as to have fun!

ABOUT ME

I am still in school at the moment. I study at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. At the moment, I am in Naples, Italy for most of the summer doing a bit of volunteer work. I have travelled quite a bit in Asia and North America but it is my first time in Europe. I am loving it;, however, I am hungry to see even more. As a person, I feel like I am very open-minded, easy-going, and friendly. As a result, I would love to also use Couch Surfing to meet some like-minded individuals!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in new experiences. I am a very open-minded and curious individual. I want to experience everything fresh and for the first time. I believe this will instigate the most growth from a young individual like myself.

So far, I just got on the site. At the moment, I am traveling. However, I am definitely open to hosting others in the future if it works out!

Music, Movies, and Books

Like many others, I am in love with the Harry Potter books and movies. I also love the Godfather (both the book and the movies). In terms of music, I am pretty open. The only specific name that comes to mind is the Beatles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a competitive swimmer growing up and managed to rack up a nice selection of accolades. I also got to watch the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympics and watch Michael Phelps win his 8th gold medal. Haha, I feel like that counts as witnessing history!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak fluent Chinese as well as some French in addition to English. I volunteer as a language teacher and so I would love to share that knowledge.
