ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Dongyeon Ryu (or you can just call me Drew, my temporary English name haha). I am an exchange student from Seoul, South Korea and I currently live in St. Louis. I'm a junior, 24 years old, and studying American culture. I'm planning to visit some Middle or Southern cities of America during this exchange program and after that I will fly to Ireland and the United Kingdom. I do hope to make new precious relationships and memories through couchsurfing!! :)
PHILOSOPHY
"limited fulfillment"
This is another reference of failure in Don't Eat the Marshmallow...Yet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting new people is always challenging to me, but it is definitely worthwhile after all. I may be not good at making friends, but I do want to meet new people. I want to see and experience different cultures. That's why I participate in the couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like watching movies, especially award-winning pieces. I've recently watched
The Perks of Being a Wallflower,
007 Skyfall,
Argo,
Silver Linings Playbook,
and Wreck-It-Ralph.
They are all great!! And also I love Pixar movies. I probably saw all of their films. Toy Story 3, Up, and Wall-E are my all-time favorite movies ever!!
I like all kinds of music, especially country music. Some of my favorite artists are Carrie Underwood, Mumford & Sons, Lady Antebellum, and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lake Louise in Canada is just absolutely unforgettable. I've been there during this fall break by myself. It took 12 hours to get there from Vancouver by Greyhound bus, which was really exhausting, but definitely worth it. This lake is the must-visit place that I strongly recommend you the most!!
