ABOUT ME

I'm very sporty - both playing and watching. I play tennis, golf, snooker and go running. I used to play rugby and have played some football.
I am a journalist for a local newspaper in Northumberland in the North of England with a circulation of around 9000 homes. Ideally i want to specialise as a sports journalist and travel the world! Hopefully by the time the Olympic Games come to London in 2012 and the Commonwealth Games in 2014 to Glasgow I will be able to cover them as a journalist.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch surfed once - when i was in London in early 2007. I was meeting up with my friend Jess who was couch surfing in London at the time. I had such a great time and met some really interesting and fun people and since then I have tried to spread the word about couch surfing and look forward to doing it again when I get round to doing dome more travelling.
I have also met up with a couch surfer in Edinburgh and showed her round the city and gone out for meal.

Sport - played all sorts - tennis for over 15 years and rugby for about 10. Not sure what else but sure there would be something i could teach! Would love to learn to play the guitar so I could put music to the song lyrics I write.
