I'm an artist, who lives in the Philadelphia suburbs. I am looking to sell my works to businesses and many more private collectors. Ultimately, my goal is to get my art in hotels, spas. I'd love to see my work on clothing, and accessories as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My name is Donna, and I'm an artist. I'm that dreamy, romantic type, who's always looking for that sparkle in everything, and everyone. I love, love. Amor! I've travelled across the Atlantic on more than a few occasions, to capture, and polish that precious jewel we call love. After a broken heart, and a broken engagment it still eludes me. But, my heart goes on!

My last trip across the pond, has left me with a return ticket to the British Isles in just a few short weeks. But, with no partner, or plans to go along with it. Lightbulb! Wouldn't it be wonderful/amazing/EPIC, if I could go to Paris instead of losing that flight?! My heart beat a little faster, and the butterflies in my stomach took flight at the thought. After all, I said to myself, I've been learning French! I've been practicing everyday for months. THIS is an amazing opportunity! I just need a place to bathe & sleep, a little food, and a one way flight home.

Paris is called the city of lights, romance & love. Sounds like my kind of place! But, the most amazing thing for me would be to see its beauty, and feel its energy. The architecture, the art, the people. The different sounds, the textures, the food... I just want to know what's it like. If even for just a weekend. I feel like visiting such an incredible city will be just what I need to help get me where I want to go. Moving from the inside of me, out. My art is right on the edge of consistiently being something that people can really feel, and connect with. I want everyone to have an experience that is meaningful when they view my work.

Artistic expression is born from a collection of experiences, feelings & memories. I want to create deep, soulful & engaging art for you all to enjoy. The kind inspired by a Magical Parisian adventure! I want to immerse myself in the city, and plan to miss a lot of sleep.

I'm grateful everyday for the many blessings in my life. I know I've been lucky. Asking for help to take this trip, isnt exactly comfortable for me. Which is why I've been procrastinating for about a week now. But, time is growing short. So, I realized I have to try. I want to thank you all for reading my story.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love lots of kinds of music. I love to dance. So, dance music may be my favorite. I also enjoy singing along with some songs. So, old standards & new songs with real singer artists are great too.

I enjoy action, fantasy, animated (went to school for that), and drama type movies best.

I haven't read a lot of books recently. Other than self-improvement, art & health/nutrition books.

Mountain climbing I suppose. But, lots of people can do that!
