Overview
About Me
Originally from London, I am currently working and travelling in Australia, trying to make the most out of my time here and re-kindle my relationship with Couchsurfing <3 I have used this platform in India, France, the States but.. I have couchsurfed and hosted a bunch of times on my adventures.
I have lived quite the nomadic life of unplanned travel. Hitchhiking, volunteering allowing life to take me where it needs and putting trust in others.
More recently, I have lived long term in Quebec, Nicaragua and now.. Australia . The last couple of years I have met incredible people, somewhat learnt two new languages. I always have a story or two up my sleeve :)
Since being here, I have volunteered in different properties and events. Im an extremely slow traveller and often get stuck in places for a while, so I’ve decided to couchsurf as motivation to meet new people and share different cultures and communities around me as possible!
Ive learnt over the past few years to find joy in very simple things- which makes me a brilliant low maintenance guest :) I am open minded and enjoy critical thinking (in the fun way ;P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I began travelling most of my choices have been based on recommendation or chance encounters with shiny people. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do this, I also want to be involved in the CS community once I move back to... probably somewhere I havent even thought of living yet- but sofas for all!
Interests
Currently I am trying to write a lot dreaming up potential ideas for a book. Reading. Skipping. I love exploring different communities. I am an organiser of a small community festival with two of my friends.
I used to make murals, practise permaculture and circus arts for a while.
I studied politics at university, and no, I do not want a job in politics. But we can talk it ahha although I’m very uninformed atm
I have an egg shaker with me, in case we encounter a random singing circle.
Most importantly, I would like to be able to do a pull up by 2019 (edit 2020) (edit 2025)

Music, Movies, and Books
The 40 rules of love is my bible (its a novel) apart from that.. such a range I’m sure we will have some in common.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 7 months in India at one time, accidentally ending up on a yoga teacher course, joining a circus and meeting the Dalai-Lama
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some people say that I can be funny… so definitely some laughter and good memories. I'm always looking to exchange something with my hosts for their generosity with anything you need help with. I have taught as an English teacher in Thailand and online. I have looked after animals, helping with small projects and things around the house. Let me know if you have something in mind.. or we can just enjoy a coffee together :)
