I started CouchSurfing (on another account; hence only few reviews here) back in 2006 and met lots of wonderful people. Now I’m making it my mission to show my son the world’s nicest places and people, one at a time. :)

Celebrated New Year’s 2000 at Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto, ringing the bell. Amazingly, they had one monk specifically assigned to hold ringer’s cameras and take pictures.
