About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To go where no man has gone before

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, like a good laugh and love good food. I could be characterized as creative and work well with people. My friends might call me awesome and very modest.

We come originally from Pune, India and have been living in the Netherlands since the end of 2009.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not an atheist, but I'm not religious. I'm liberal, but not a libertarian. I don't agree with extremist interpretations of any religion, belief or philosophy. I guess you could call me a centrist, if anything. And someone who believes in the power of rational thought as one of the best tools we have on earth, next to faith (or the placebo effect, if that's your persuasion).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed once, enjoyed it throughly. Hosted a couple of times, no regrets thus far!

Interests

I have way too many interests for my own good. Writing, guitar playing, song writing, Scrum / Agile, eating and drinking foremost among them. I'm not really the partying type but I love meeting new people and having a good conversation with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock 'n Roll! I play in bands and for a choir. My personal music of choice is progressive and heavy metal. But I'm always open to discover new music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Friends are awesome.
Family is awesome.
Growing up in Pune, India was awesome.
Falling in love with and marrying my wife was awesome.
Walking through the Roman forums and seeing the ruins of one of the greatest civilizations on earth was awesome.
Munich - Oktoberfest: Expecting to find drunks rolling on the streets but meeting warm, friendly Germans instead was awesome.
Exploring local cuisines when travelling is awesome.
Transcending this world while playing music with a band is awesome.
Utrecht, Netherlands - Been living here since 2009 and it's awesome.
The human mind is awesome.
The force that holds our improbable world and lives in balance is awesome.
