ABOUT ME

we're five guys from new jersey who happen to be drawn together by a love for fast music. we play a style of music known as grindcore that was established by Napalm Death (among others) back in the early '80s. though there is a lot of screaming and yelling in our songs, we can assure you that our lyrics are pg-13 at their worst (look ma! no cursing!) and deal with such fictional and/or historical and/or current topics as giant robots, pirates, cowboys, ghosts, zombies, vikings, kids at hardcore shows, and the like.

We are drug free, don't smoke, and drink moderately (we don't carry alcohol with us on the road.). now a little more detail...

Brian: Vocals. bachelors degree in illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Likes to cook and makes t-shirts for just about every local band in a 25-mile radius.

John: Guitar. simultaneous curmudgeon and nicest guy you'll ever meet. usually the most available band representative. He landscapes in the summer and attends the College of New Jersey in the fall.

Chris: guitar. Chris is an enigma. He enjoys bars and good times. He also enjoys a good movie and pizza. He does manly work, like building basements out of concrete, and making electricity happen in big buildings. you'll have to ask him about that... I'm not really sure how it all works. oh! and likes to go to the diner.

Josh: Bass. Josh used to have long hair and can solve Rubik's cubes in under a minute. Josh goes to Rowan University for advertising and loves a good rum and coke. he also enjoys movies and composing music on his laptop. if you can get him to snort while he's laughing, he'll stop breathing.

Joe: drums. Joe likes to run around, roll in the grass, climb trees, and do handstands. he's also a damn attractive man and the author of this bio. Joe attends The college of New Jersey.

PHILOSOPHY

the band philosophy is pretty simple: we play this music because it's what keeps us going... it is our escape from the routine of daily life. it is our voice. it is 5 people drawn by a common interest who forged an uncommon friendship in the process. it is our midlife crisis 20 years early. it is the story we can tell our grandkids about how we stayed at *insert you name here*'s house and had an awesome time meeting new people all over the country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as we get a place together, it will be available to whoever may be in the area. Until then, hopefully we can participate by providing positive experiences for the people we meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well, seeing as there's 5 of us, it's always interesting when we decide who is going to get the most comfortable spots. The absolute best place we stayed was with a guy In PA who was in a band that was one of our influences. it was really good times. We've stayed with several people through couchsurfing now and each time has been an entirely unique, amazing experience. Using couchsurfing is like playing a lottery you can't lose.
