Overview
About Me
I'm truthful, idealistic, and have a great sense of humor. I like to learn things from experience so I love to meet different people, share experiences, and experiment with different things.
I have a natural curiosity about everything and I love to learn. I tend to have a philosophical frame of mind and love to explore the what if's. For me nothing is set in stone and there are an endless possibilities of answers to questions depending on who's perspective you're looking at it from. I'm very open minded and one of my motto's is 'If it harms none, do what ye will." (My other motto is, "We're all just stories in the end, so make it good one.") What I love most about people is their quirks or idiosyncrasies that make them different. I tend to root for the underdog.
I love life and live in the present moment. I'm a go, go, go type of person so I don't have a lot of time to revisit the past. And the future? Meh...I'll deal with it when it gets here. I'm fiercely independent and wouldn't sacrifice that for anything. I hate feeling tied down or stuck. Personal freedom is important to me.
I think I have good judgement when it comes to people. I'm very intuitive and I usually have good insight. I have a high interest in esoteric studies and I do a lot of work with Starseeds and Lightworkers. I'm a believer in meditation and practice it daily. I'm also on a raw food kick, but I'm not sure yet if it's going to stick or if I'm just experimenting.
I am too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated. I'm all around fabulous. And in case you're in to personality profiles I'm an ENFP on the Briggs Myers and an iD on the Disc test.
But I am also a work in continual progress and have my share of weaknesses. For instance, I'm impatient. I'm not impetuous like I was when I was younger, so I must be improving some, but I do tend to get irritated when everyone isn't moving as fast as I am. My challenge is to learn how to slow down and smell the roses.
Sadly, I'm not very tactful. Others have told me this, but I honestly don't see it in myself. But enough people have told me that I have no doubt it's there. I never intentionally try to hurt someone's feeling, but I guess when asked an opinion I don't sugarcoat my response appropriately. Social mores, what a bummer.
I get bored easily. The very worst thing I can be is bored. I hate the very idea of it. That's probably why I'm go, go, go all the time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't possibly have a favorite. I don't have a favorite anything really, but I can tell you that when it comes to Doctor Who I am obsessive. I watch it every day. Every. Day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hitchhiked across the country. Well from Michigan to San Diego, CA, so about 3/4 of the country. I was 16 and dumb, but it was amazing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A comfortable place to stay and great company.
I have an extra bedroom, which I currently use a music room, but it would easily fit an air mattress, which I also have. I also have a huge couch that's comfy to sleep on. My backyard is also large and would easily fit a couple of tents. There's also a fire pit out there so you can enjoy a fire at night.
I have a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use if needed. I have a clothesline in the backyard if you like the smell of sun dried clothes.
I have a full kitchen and you are welcome to use it to cook whatever you like.
I have a 12 year old son, so kids are definitely welcome.
I also have my own transportation and could show you around. I may be willing to drop you off somewhere too if you'd rather do your own thing. Just depends on my schedule. Work and all...
