ABOUT ME

I am 5'3" and John is 6'1" tall, brown hair, oh that's not what you want to know? lol okay John and I were home builders for 26 years. Now we are in a new phase of our lives. John is going back to school to become an Emergency Room nurse. We have two grandchildren (girls) and one other on the way. We really enjoy that. We are easy going. Like the outdoors. We like to try new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to try it, but was highly recommended on using it from my son and his time in Germany. I would love to meet new people and learn about a different country by those who live there.

Interests

My husband, John, and I enjoy traveling and seeing new things. We are very family oriented. We enjoy taking work/medical mission trips. We like to camp in the mountains. Play board games like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride..I like Pit, John likes Chess. I like to do crafts, decorate cakes and scrapbooking. John likes to build things and watch American football. Okay, I have to admit I have enjoyed watching football this year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love going to the mountains in Colorado and the stunning beauty that they hold. I have also been in the rain forest of Brazil and was able to see all sorts of different animals and birds.
