"I should probably go to bed", is what I think often, but then I end up climbing onto an old city wall after midnight. I'm a confused person looking for experiences to narrow myself down.
I got my degree in neuroscience/philosophy, but started working as a web animator, then eventually headed web development at an e-commerce company in NYC. After a 3 month trip in SE Asia I decided I need to continue traveling. I want to be exposed to new possibilities outside of the NYC bubble.
I try not to let my expectations of self and others be dictated by the norm because what's normal is completely relative.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet chill people. I hope to be an awesome host if I settle down in one place long enough.
I love to experience new foods, places, and people. I enjoy tango dancing, regular dancing, ping-pong, hiking, live shows, interactive art, and philosophizing. I like to listen to podcasts (radiolab, TED talks), drink pu-erh, and bicycle.
Music, Movies, and Books
Metamorphosis, Berserk, Metaphysics: The Big Questions, and The Alchemist.
Die Antwoord, Chopin, MIA, Fiona Apple, Ella and Billie Holiday, altJ.
GOT, Key and Peele, Rick and Morty.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Motor biking through Vietnam with my sister aka best friend.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm figuring out which path to take for my next commitments in life. Would love to share stories and see new possibilities.
