Positive and open; I love experiencing new cultures.
My first time couchsurfing was while doing a cross country road trip in the US. Staying with surfers made the experience unforgettable.
I got my degree in psychology, moved into animation work, then headed web development at an e-commerce company in NYC. After a 3 month trip in SE Asia I decided I need to continue traveling. I want to be exposed to new possibilities outside of the NYC bubble.
I always try to say, "yes" to any small chance to explore life, and never miss the opportunity to do something different.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love connecting with new people. Half the experience of traveling is the people you meet. And I love the connection you get from sharing a home.
I love to experience new foods, places, and people. I enjoy tango dancing, soccer, ping-pong, billiards, hiking, live shows, interactive art, and philosophizing. I like to listen to podcasts (radiolab, TED talks), drink pu-erh, and bike whenever I can.
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Dragon Lance Series and A Short History of Everything. I think my favorite books are Metamorphosis, Berserk, Metaphysics: The Big Questions, and The Alchemist.
For music I like: Band of Horses, Carlos Libedinsky, Chopin, MIA, Metric, Jon Butler Trio, Fiona Apple, Ella and Billie Holiday, altJ.
I just watched Cast Away on the Moon. It's streaming on Netflix; go watch it! I also really liked the Artist. I love all Studio Ghibli films unconditionally. Also a big fan of GOT, Key and Peele, and Rick and Morty.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Motor biking in Vietnam
