About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the world, meet lots of interesting people, have fun and be happy

ABOUT ME

We've been married 25 years, it was love at first sight, we were both doing holiday work on the Isle of Wight, when we met and married within 6 months of meeting. we are adventurous and love to try new things, we have grown up children, we love the outdoors; walking, camping. We have just returned from living and working in Edmonton,Canada - whilst on a career break from our U.K jobs. We are laid back and easy going, enjoy a good laugh and a glass or two of wine. We like to go to the theatre, pubs, resturants, museums anything really - we give it a go.
We travel a lot our selves and are quite often away at the weekends but if you give us enough notice and we don't have any firm plans, we will try to accomadate you.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the full, you're only here once.
Treat others how you wish to be treated.
You'll never know how far you can go if you don't push your own boundaries.
Most of the best things in life are free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell everyone I know about the scheme and encourage people to join up, hope to use it ourselves as often as we can. We plan to leave a reference for everyone we're lucky enough to meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are always putting up friends and family from all over the U.K, friends of my children who have needed a place to stay for a while. When my children were small we took in international language students from all over the world, so many nationalities - it was really interesting and my children benefited so much from our guests, learning about cultures, not being shy around new people.
The strangest thing I was asked to do was host an English tea party for a group of Japanese ladies on a tour of England and show them around my house, so they could experience a typical home.
