ABOUT ME

I am an Indochinese. My mother is indonesian and my dad is a Singaporean. i have been living in Singapore in my entire life.
i don't believe in anyone being stupid, rather how much you want to work towards your goal. an intelligent person who is lazy is nothing compared to an average person who is hardworking and strives for his/her goals.
that's why i don't believe i am smart either; i am just diligent.
i have many nicknames throughout my childhood. such as doraemon, chewing gums, etc. i am not offended and in fact, i find it funny when someone jokes about it.

i started learning ballet since i was 6. and i moved on to chinese dance, modern dance as well. my team achieved the Gold with Honours award in the Singapore Youth Festival competition (one of the largest competition in high school) and that was the very first time i teared for joy.

i started doing long distance runs during my high schools and i joined 10km -21km marathons yearly. i was in my school's cross country team and i joined the recreational dragon boat team as well!
i like to cycle to parks during the weekends or just a quiet walk in the nature.

i am greatly into humanitarian. i love doing volunteering work, both locals and overseas. i visited some Asia countries to help the less fortunate. i believe in giving back to the society because i always felt that i am very blessed to be able to live in a very conductive environment in my hometown. so i strive to improve the lives of others by doing my small little parts and hopefully to leave a small footprints in their lives. i will be happy if i can make someone smile, even if it is just for a short while.

i am very open minded and liberal, friends tend to come to me for advice often. i won;t judge because i try to hold on to the trust that there is always a reason or a positive intention to why people act the way they act and why they do things.

in the recent years after visiting to certain less developed countries, i have increasingly show a great interest in nature and serenity. i love to visit the rural areas where it is not too crowded and enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer me. I feel more relaxed when there are nice views such as mountains or flowers.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE animals. a big fan of dogs and rabbits and everything else! however, i am slightly afraid of cats because there was a cat which chased after me once when i was very young, so i have a slight phobia of cats. :( nevertheless, i still think they are adorable!
