About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Setting up my next year Erasmus in France
ABOUT ME
I was born and grew up in Traunstein, a tiny town in the very south east of Germany. We're so close to the Austrian border that I don't make any difference between those two countries. I have lived in Austria for five years attending a school for tourism. Since I always enjoyed traveling I couldn't wait to get out after my A-Levels. So I left to travel Australia (traveling for beginners, you see ;) ). I happened to stay there longer than intended in a van called Jim - just living, picking plenty of fruit, traveling, walking, reading, thinking.
After this I travelled South East Asia for a bit. I planned to go to New Zealand and live there for a while (I went there before and loved it so much), but unfortunately they wouldn't let me in (passport stuff...). So I returned to Germany after nearly three years away and worked as a tourist guide at Herrenchiemsee Palace (which I have done a couple of seasons already).
2 years ago I decided to become a teacher and therefore moved to Passau. So I'm studying English and French Language, Literature and Culture as well as educational science.
This year I had some changes in my private life, which I thought about walking the Camino de Santiago from Santiago to Sevilla. Currently I am preparing my Erasmus exchange year, which will start in September and which I am madly looking forward to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not too many so far, but my housemates participate vividly, so I get to profit a lot ;)
Interests
I love making music, especially trying out new instruments. Only 6 months ago I started playing the harp. Unfortunately this means, that my other instruments (piano, flute) tend to sleep a little
Aside from that I enjoy being outside, swimming, walking, cooking, reading. All sorts of stuff really... oh, and I'm open to try new things, but please don't try to make me run!
