About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying every flavor of Crumbs cupcakes. Twice.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying abroad for my Junior (third year). For the first semester I will be in Aix-En-Provence, second semester in Paris. I'm taking this opportunity to explore Europe and would love to be somewhere new almost every weekend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell practically everyone I meet about couch surfing. Seriously.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One summer I embarked on what is now officially called "Epic Roadtrip 2010" with my two best friends. We explored the south, visiting such states as North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. We met so many wonderful people and had some of the best adventures possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- The Fall I think is my favorite film of all time. Some runners up are Wristcutters, 500 Days of Summer, À bout de Souffle, and Pan's Labyrinth.

Books- House of Leaves, To the Lighthouse, The People's Act of Love.

Music- I have a last.fm profile! My username is doremidom. My favorites change every month. Currently they are Laura Marling and Noah and the Whale.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took in a mistreated pregnant cat and was with her the whole time during her labor and after. It was amazing seeing four little kittens learn how to crawl one week and see the next. It was terribly hard emotionally adopting them out once they were old enough but I would do it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to unsuccessfully bake brownies! I know a lot of useless information that most likely you wouldn't want to know. I play guitar and can kind of play piano. My mother was a hair stylist so I can definitely teach you how to do/dye your hair (I could even cut it for you!) or coordinate an outfit.
I'd love to learn how to properly play the mandolin. Or whistle. Anything really, one of my great passions is learning new things.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Cayman Islands, France, Mexico, United States, Venezuela, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
