I’m a city girl turned country girl. I grew up in Baltimore and moved to the Shenandoah Valley after graduating college. I love living in Middletown, VA, a suburb of the metropolis of Winchester, with my fiancé and our dogs. I’m a multi-preneur: my business, Pebble in a Pond, is a crystal shop and base of my holistic healing practice. In my practice, I offer CranioSacral therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy and integrative energetic medicine. I’m also caregiver to a dear friend and owner of a building with both commercial and residential tenants. When I’m not “working”, I love to get out in nature (there’s plenty of it where I live).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I continue to take classes, mostly in CranioSacral therapy, and need a cozy place to crash in the evenings where I can also make myself dinners. I like meeting people and would so much rather stay in your home than a hotel. Not to mention the huge cost savings, which makes my taking classes possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I’ve done (so far) was to leave behind a 12 year federal government career to pursue my dream of being my own boss. I opened my first business in 2010 and my current business in 2015. I am truly LIVING THE DREAM!
