ABOUT ME

I grew up in Canada, and spent much of my free time camping and canoeing through the Great Canadian Lakes, or hiking through the Rocky Mountains. I just finished my master´s in space science and technology, and am travelling aboard trying to see much of the world with my own two eyes and camera. I love adventure, travel, photography, and all cultures of the world. I´m very flexible, open-minded, and so always interested in trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, i am enjoying life on the road. Unfortunately, this means that I have no couch to share at the moment, but I am definitely going to do something about it when I return to Toronto.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve had a quite a few couchsurfing experiences, mostly informal and from friends. I spent some time surfing in Finland mostly, but also in Germany and Sweden. This is my first time trying out couchsurfing.org.

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts of interests.
For movies: Lord of the Rings, Inception, and many more! Tons of documentaries. I'm a huge fan of David Attenborough and BBC Nature documentaries.

For music: I listen to all sorts of things. Mostly jazz, heavy metal, classical, rock and some pop. Currently exploring some Japanese music, so there's a bit of electronic in there as well.

For books: Hitchhiker´s Guide to the Galaxy, Calvin & Hobbes (if you count that as a book), am currently reading Sherlock Holmes whilst I travel aboot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. Reveled under the majesty of the Aurora Borealis. Bathed in the arctic ocean, albeit very quickly!

Teach, Learn, Share

While I am not a pro-photographer by any means, I've learned a few tips and tricks during my travels and would be happy to share them, in the hopes of making future trips more vibrant and memorable.

I can also chat about my travels. I've been to quite a few places around the world and have a number of interesting tales to accompany them.
