Just decided to move back to Chengdu after a long vacation, will begin to host CSers recently

Before you decide to send a stay request, here’s how I see hosting.

I enjoy hosting when there is mutual curiosity and independence. And I’m happy to share a meal or a walk if it happens naturally, but I don’t act as a full-time guide or planner.

For me, Couchsurfing is about exchange, not convenience.

Currently a spontaneous traveler wandering around Europe 🇪🇺( from June to the end of September ) then Turkey 🇹🇷 (in October / 3 weeks maybe )

(Sometimes I post my planned dates in a city, but they may not exactly match the real-time situation. I always appreciate invitations from local hosts — and I just try to stay honest with my vibes 😆) and looking forward to meet wonderful friends and local host all along the way

Haloooooooooo😋😋😋! This is Doris from Chengdu, China — a city best known as the home of the world’s cutest creature: the panda.😅

After spending over 20 years in this vibrant and laid-back city, I believe I’ve naturally absorbed some of its best qualities: a relaxed attitude from day to night😇, and a consistently positive outlook, no matter what life brings🙂.

This summer, I plan to fully explore Europe through cultural exchange and travel — not just as a tourist🎒, but by truly living like a local🤨.

🤩Here’s a rough outline of my trip:

My trip in Europe is finally coming to the end part, will be in Rome and enjoy my time for a while, but not doing Couchsurfing in here, meet me on the street if you’re lucky enough 🤣

A bit more about me:
I studied architecture⛪️ and worked in that field for some time🥲. But at a certain point, I felt the urge to step outside of that circle 😡to explore the world and try different paths before committing to a long-term direction😱. This theme of exploration has come to me quite naturally🍃.

In the past, I’ve also worked as a restaurant manager 🥘, villa manager🏠, and business interpreter🗣️.💪

It’s a ridiculous world ☝️— I always seem to stumble into unexpected jobs and somehow survive in them.🥵

🧐But life — and who I am today — is about much more than just work. I truly value the meaningful connections and beautiful moments that come with travel, and I’m excited to create more on the way.
